THE ECSTASY NOTE is a surreal dark comedy that chronicles a frantic month in the life of a middle-aged nobody named Henford (Mark Camacho). In a moment of rage, Henford’s wife unwittingly discovers within him a mysterious ability. As public demand for his “ecstasy note” grows out of control, Henford is drawn into the center of a rising maelstrom of addiction and chaos that threatens to tear apart his town and indeed his very life. Only the affection of a young deaf woman, Juniper (Sarah Gravel), grounds Henford in reality during his tumultuous voyage; if he can just wake up and see it.
