You will notice that I am giving very high marks to almost every movie that I review. Well, that would be because I'm responsible for many of the selections for this year's programming, and so naturally, they are right up my alley.

Fantastic Debates Party
Party
I'm hoping that the comment below about the sub-standard boxing is a joke?! If you want to watch pro-boxing, turn on the TV. If you want to watch impossibly skinny, weak and pale film nerds windmill at each other and be gasping for breath after two 2 minute rounds, the Fantastic Debates are for you. Beyond this the debates themselves were very funny.

Tokyo Gore Police
Yoshihiro Nishimura 2008 | Feature, Featured, Guest in Attendance, Horror, Next Wave
This is ridiculous amounts of fun from a clearly demented mind. There is Japanese weirdness and bloody gore by the bucketful.

Surveillance
Jennifer Lynch 2008 | Feature, Guest in Attendance, Thriller
I totally did not see this one coming. I love when that happens. Solid performances all around and a really good plotline.
