DIRECTOR JONATHAN LIEBESMAN AND PRODUCERS BRAD FULLER & ANDREW FORM WILL ATTEND.

STARS R. LEE ERMEY AND JORDANA BREWSTER LIVE IN PERSON!

JUST ADDED! ANDREW "LEATHERFACE" BRYNIARSKI WILL BE IN ATTENDANCE!

Remakes, Prequels to Remakes… We seem caught in an endless recycling of material. However, given how bad some of the “sequels” to my beloved TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE and how much I love the character of Leatherface, I was happy that the “remake” was as good as it was. It didn’t have the absolute realism of the original – it was the “Hollywood” version, but this chapter is something entirely new. And it’s fantastic.

You ever wonder what Leatherface’s first time was like? How he was born and raised? Where did the Hewitt family get their taste for human flesh? Who where their first victims? Whose were the first cars in that car graveyard? Like BATMAN BEGINS for the homicidal set – TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE BEGINNING is a wonderful piece of entertainment with a darker scarier run at it than the first modern attempts. We’re privileged to have R. Lee Ermey, Jordana Brewster, the director Jonathan Liebesman along with the producers Brad Fuller and Andrew Form here in Austin to celebrate the latest in central Texas culinary cinema. - (Harry Knowles, Ain’t It Cool News)

We had R. Lee Ermey in town for the premiere of the 2003 Texas Chainsaw Masacre, and I must tell you, he was one of our all-time favorite guests. Expect a rousing Q&A, but be forewarned, don’t piss him off or talk during the movie or he’ll likely make you drop down and give him twenty. And don’t even think about a shit-eating grin when you approach. After the screening, join us for the Texas Chainsaw after party where we’ll have a celebration of red meat, booze and chainsaws. What’s the worst that could happen? - (Tim League, Fantastic Fest)
