REC 2
Paco Plaza, Jaume Balagueró 2009 | Feature, Guest in Attendance, Horror, Thriller
I LOVE sequels like this. Sequels that partially take place while the first movie was going on is cool. And that ending...holy hell. I hope the next sequel has her taking a massive poop in it.

Van Diemen's Land
Jonathan Auf Der Heide 2009 | Drama, Feature, Guest in Attendance, Thriller
Holy shit this movie is boring. I'm sorry Nice Guy Who Directed It. Probably 50, 30 second shots of people looking, emoting an fuckin' walking. It is beautiful, but goddamn it was boring. And about it being realistic, it is, but they forgot the one most realistic thing about a cannabilism story, which is the eating people part. The guys said they weren't making a slasher gore flick, but a realistic depiction, but that doesn't really make sense since the reality of cannibalism is people eating other people's cooked flesh and guts.
