The sweeping tale includes rarely seen footage from Owen Garriott’s early missions and unprecedented access to Richard’s training in Star City, Russia, as well as his launch from remote Kazakhstan. Culminating with exclusive personal footage of his 10-day mission on the International Space Station, viewers share an awe-inspiring journey that is literally out of this world.

At once an intimate look at the process of becoming an astronaut and a profound statement on man’s future in space, the film reveals a formerly top-secret world known only by a select few - until now.
