Special live performance!
"A must-see!" --The Austin Chronicle
"Pitch-perfect... totally nuts and a ton of fun! ... An official selection of Fantastic Fest ... Do not miss it!" --The Austinist
"When I first saw the original run of first installment of THE INTERGALACTIC NEMESIS..., I was completely blown away. ... The Live-Action Graphic Novel [has] made something inconceivably great somehow impossibly more perfect." --Tim League, Producer, Fantastic Fest
Three weeks ago, more than 2000 people showed up to the premiere of The Intergalactic Nemesis Live-Action Graphic Novel at the Long Center in Austin. Last week at a booking conference for Midwest venues, more than 40 presenting houses expressed serious interest in booking the tour. Fantastic Fest is proud to present the only scheduled presentation of Nemesis in Austin or at any film festival anywhere. Tickets are going to MOVE for this one-time screening and you really don't want to miss it.
When the contact that Pulitzer-winner Molly Sloan and her assistant Timmy Mendez is assassinated after giving them a map of something called the "central hive" and then the assassin is himself assassinated by a mysterious (but handsome) stranger, Molly and Timmy realize they've stumbled on the story of the century. This period-sci-fi-horror-suspense-comedy-romance is presented in a whole new format: while three actors (Chris Gibson, Shana Merlin, and Mical Trejo), one Foley artist (FOLEYVISION's Buzz Moran), and one keyboardist (the unstoppable Graham Reynolds) perform all the voices, sound effects and music, more than 1,000 hand-drawn, full-color, hi-rez, blow-your-mind comic-book images blast from the screen, all performed LIVE.
